Sagarika Rath

I’m Sagarika from India, basically an engineer from IIT Kharagpur (Indian Institute Of Technology). Agricultural Engineering and Water Resource Engineering are the fields in which i specialise. Apart from these, during course of my job and training i have got ample experience of Software Coding and “Mike” related softwares.

Soil and water conservation has been a long neglected topic but not anymore. The effect of neglecting these precious resources are taking a heavy toll worldwide, be it drainage related problems in existing cities or gradually decreasing coastline all over the world, we are slowly pushing ourselves to grievous consequences.

I have been writing for many columns and articles but this is the first time I’m entering to the vivacious world of blogging by which i have a simple and clear aim of spreading the knowledge which i gain from my research and works, in the meantime i will also get an opportunity to learn new things from my friends who share the similar thoughts.
